The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos kicks off 22 January 2014 under the theme “The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business”. The forum brings together stakeholders from across generations and industries. But if you want to navigate the agenda you need to plan your executives’ presence at additional events throughout 2014 that bring the right leaders together in the geographies you want to influence.
Your executives’ event list in 2014 should include smaller, round-table discussions under Chatham House Rules where real conversation (read: also disagreement) takes place. And if the event that you are looking for doesn’t exist, consider creating it.
For your executives to get the most out of all events, they need to be prepared. This includes a detailed agenda with scheduled meetings and briefs. To lead the dialogue you need a clear call to action.
So what forums will your executives be present at this year? And do they have a clear call to action?
The question is: are you following or leading the 2014 agenda?
