360 communications for Circular Norway

Challenge:

The newly established association Circular Norway needed support with hosting a launch to introduce a study on the state of circular economy in Norway, as well as a new website thar clearly communicates their vision to stakeholders. Circular Norway aims to increase knowledge about circular economy in Norway both in the public and private sphere, build a community to develop circular economy in Norway and drive industry projects to make Norway a forerunner for circular economy.

Solution:

Leidar participated in all aspects of the launch, including developing the concept and planning, to executing and following up post the event. The planning of the launch kicked off with an internal workshop, where Circular Norway and its co-founders RENAS and the Norwegian Electrical Trade Association (EFO), together with Leidar, set out a clear plan for what needed to be done to deliver on the objectives. Following the internal workshop, Leidar was the single point of contact that provided hands on services throughout all phases; strategy, research stakeholder lists; write, design and send the invitations; suggest and prepare speakers; social media; media relations; develop the visual profile; design and write the brochure about the study; coordinate the actual launch event; summarize and follow up with the speakers; produce the film from the event. Leidar secured more than 120 participants and the event was well-received. Based on the work done in preperation for the event, Leidar created a website to highlight Circular Norway’s vision, create a resource bank to inform members and stakeholders, and create a space for inspiration and engagement.

“Leidar took the role as secretariat and a strategic partner for the event. It was of major help to get support with coordinating both domestic and international speakers, quality check deliverables and safely guide all parties through the launch. Leidar has an incredible way of seeing the bigger picture and using communications to build a community. The academic level at Leidar is high and their employees showed great enthusiasm for our work and contributed with both knowledge and resources from their own network. Through the website www.circularnorway.no we get across the organizations’ message, and contributes to us becoming a strong resource environment for everything within the circular economy“.
