Navigating one of the world’s most important meeting places

Challenge

The World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting is without question a place where global discourse is shaped.

The current global situation means that this year’s January meeting has moved from its usual location in Davos to a completely digital experience. January’s digital Davos Agenda Week will run from 25-29 January, focusing on new challenges and opportunities in health, technology and geopolitics.

UN’s Sustainable Development Goals created a platform for companies, governments and civil society to engage. Its 17 Goals, 169 Targets and 244 Indicators provide a joint platform for all actors in the multilateral system. With less than 10 years left to achieve these goals, the pressure is on to undergo a radical transformation. As 3,000 top executives from various industries come together online for a comprehensive program, we ask: how should attendees organise and plan their week so that they make the most of their opportunities and connect with the right people? And how can we ensure that the dialogue is sustained beyond the virtual gathering?

Solution

For over ten years we have supported organisations, companies and their executives at WEF’s Annual Meeting in setting the agenda and developing meaningful relationships. In recent years we have been the exclusive communications partner for the SDG Tent – the place for individuals and entities to come together and progress the global debate on the role of business in delivering sustainable and inclusive development. In other words, it is the go-to meeting point for sustainability at WEF.

“The SDG Tent is the heart of the World Economic Forum this week in Davos.”
— Al Gore, former Vice-President, USA

It will continue to be a space for important conversations, and the new digital venue means more people than ever before have the opportunity to participate in the events.
